Terms & Conditions

Bookings:

Bookings are subject to change due to instructor availability and adverse weather conditions. We will endeavour to inform you of any changes that are necessary prior to your visit. 

  All Under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian if taking part in a licensable activity. (kayaking, canoeing, stand up paddleboarding, outdoor rock climbing and abseiling, orienteering, raft building, hillwalking, stream scramble)

Please make sure you inform the DC Outdoors of any amendments to the equipment or instruction that you have pre-booked. You will be charged for the full booking unless a cancellation or amendment is received (please read section regarding cancellation)

 Bookings with DC Outdoors will remain provisional until you sign and return the advanced booking forms along with the deposit, which must be done within 14 days of you receiving the booking information. Failure to return within this time will result in your booking becoming null and void. The final payment will be due 14 Days before the date your activity is taking place.

 For bookings made within 14 days of the visit the booking form and payment in full must be returned immediately to DC Outdoors. 

 Booking forms may be electronically signed and returned to us at dcoutdoorpursuits@gmail.com as means of confirmation of the booking and agreement to these terms, or by printing a copy to sign and send back via post to; DC Outdoors, 4 Upper Hoyland rd, Hoyland, S74 9NJ

Cancelations:

Cancellations must be made in writing (or email) 14 days prior to the date of the visit. Cancellations within 14 days of the visit are subject to 50% of the full booking. Cancellations within 7 days or non-attendance are still responsible for the full payment of the booking.

Payment:

Behaviour:       

We expect All participants to respect the staff, the equipment and other customers during their visit. To behave in a way that does not endanger yourself, other participants and the instructor. If this is not the case you may be asked to leave by the instructor, No refund will be given. It is also expected that you will be sober, anyone the instructor demes not fit to participate due to alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to take part and will not receive a refund. 

Vouchers: 

DC Outdoor vouchers will be valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. The vouchers can be exchanged as part or full payment towards activities provided by DC Outdoors on a date that is mutually agreeable. DC Outdoor vouchers are non-refundable and will not be exchanged for cash. 

Family Adventure days:

For the Family adventure days offer to be valid there must be a minimum of 2 members of the same family and at least 1 parent and child. Where a child is under 18 that child must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The price covers 2 adults and 2 children/ 1adult and 3 children. All additional participants will be charged at a subsidised day rate.
